Heritage PVC-u Sash Windows
Heritage PVC-u Sash Windows have been designed with authenticity in mind and have correctly proportioned sections with a deep bottom rail to the lower sash, narrow top rails, meeting (central) rails and stiles, thus creating the sight lines of a traditional Sash Window.

As far as is possible, it is a faithful copy of a traditional timber sash window, including ovolo detailing to the internal glazing beads & the external glazing rebate has been designed to replicate a traditional putty line - decorative sash horns are fitted as standard.

The Standard
The standard window finish is white and includes the sympathetic reinstatement of all internal architraves, windowboard nosings and trims in either final finish white painted timber, unpainted timber for painting or staining by yourselves after installation or in PVC-u for a totally maintenance free finish.

The Spiral Balance System

The spiral balance system allows the normal up & down movements of a traditional sash window including leaving it in the open position for ventilation.

Additionally (and this is something that cannot be achieved with a weight and pulley system) both the top and bottom sashes are fitted with an easy-clean mechanism so that you can safely release the sashes and tilt them into the room for cleaning the outside of the glass.

This can be particularly useful for windows above the first floor, above conservatories and above single story extensions and any other areas where external access is difficult.
